A communication business offering editorial and publishing services, ABC Carbon publishes the fortnightly e-newsletter abc carbon express and distributes it widely throughout the Asia Pacific and further afield. It also published the authoritive reference book “The ABC of Carbon: issues and opportunities in the global climate change environment”, which is available in printed form - on carbon neutral paper - and as an ebook available on Amazon Kindle etc.  Started by Ken Hickson in Brisbane, Australia in mid-2007, ABC Carbon is now based in Singapore and managed as part of Sustain Abilty Showcase Consultancy Asia Pte Ltd

Why we are a green organisation

Through the personal commitment of Ken Hickson and utilising his 50 years in the communications industry, everything ABC Carbon says and does is towards making the world a better, greener place. He has long been a supporter of green issues and climate change action, also as an advisor for the World Wide Fund for Nature, acting as the first honarary representative in Singapore for WWF International and now continues to serve as a Governor of WWF Australia. He is on the advisory committee of the Singapore Environment Council and Chairman of its Publicity Committee. Previously based in Singapore from 1983 to end 2000 he started as an inhouse ubic affairs consutant for Singaore Airlines and went on to set up his own communications consultancy, Hickson Public Relations, acting for large multinationals and Singapore businesses. After ten years in Australia, he has returned to live and work in Singapore. He is also available to undertake strategic communications consulting, but only for companies already in the sustainability sector, or wanting help to become truly green and sustainable through effective communication of their policies and practices internally and externally. He is also an experenced lecturer, trainer, teacher and coach.
